- Currently a Member of the Lee’s Summit School District’s Dignity Implementation Team, Inquiry Cadre, New Teacher Mentor.
- Created an “Elementary Tips and Suggestions” Webinar for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to assist teachers in developing an awareness of social-emotional needs of students and families, supporting them with current research/hands-on strategies to use both virtually and in-person.
- Presenter, Woodland Elementary Staff, Social Emotional Learning During a Pandemic,
- Lee’s Summit R7 Peak Grant Recipient, 2011, 2020 and 2021.
- Presenter, Woodland Elementary Family Math Night-encouraged parents to embrace the shift from traditional math practices and teaching to a more conceptual understanding of the “why” of math focusing on the importance of developing mathematical concepts.
