Personal, Hobbies, In My Spare Time, Unique Facts:

  • I am a wife and mother of 2 active, athletic boys.

What I Love About School / The Profession of Education:

  • There’s something powerful about watching a child light up when they decode a word for the first time or truly comprehend a story—it’s a moment of confidence, empowerment, and possibility.
  • Supporting teachers with literacy is equally fulfilling. I get to help them build their skills, grow their confidence, and refine their practice. When teachers feel equipped and supported, their impact in the classroom multiplies. I love being part of that ripple effect—helping one teacher can positively affect hundreds of students over time.
