    • Stephensen Elementary, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho
    • St. Joseph School District (Lafayette HS, Central HS, Benton HS)
  • Selected local teacher of the year in Del Valle.
  • Selected Northwest District Principal of the Year.
  • Selected as SJSD Innovator of the Year.

Personal, Hobbies, In My Spare Time, Unique Facts:

  • I have a need for speed:  drive motorcycles, fly airplanes, married to a fighter pilot
  • Grew up as a military child living in Athens, Greece; Okinawa, Japan; Hahn, Germany. 
  • Grandmother to three adorables: Aria, Holden and Bode — they call me Nama <3
  • Hoping to continue my passion (work is my love language) working with educators!

What I Love About School / The Profession of Education:

  • Every day the classroom should be action research for learning.

Favorite or Most Impactful Teacher Growing Up:
My fifth grade teacher in Salina, Kansas (we lived there one year while my father was in Korea).  He shared his love of model rockets with our class which inspired me to want to become an astronaut but led me to being a pilot and teacher.
