  • Teacher, coach, assistant principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent.
  • Worked in six districts 
    • Clever, Republic, Walnut Grove, East Newton, St. Clair, Laclede Co (Conway)
  • SWMASA New Superintendent recipient
  • Recipient of Doctoral Student of the Year, University of Arkansas
  • Currently Assistant Professor, Educational Leadership, Lindenwood University
  • Tanya Vest previously worked with Math and Movement as a consultant, believing students should be actively learning

  • Wife, Mother, Nana (5 grandchildren), friend, neighbor, learner, and believer.
  • Living the Lake Life on Table Rock Lake, the same dream as my beloved parents.

Mr. Fred James, my father. Although he was never my teacher in public education, through his guidance he taught me to be honest, lead and live with integrity, treat people as I would want to be treated and respect all positions in a school district because everyone is important to the success of students.
